Madrid, May 20, 2025. What if the perfect date wasn't in a bar, but on a paddle tennis court? With this premise, Bumble, the dating app where women take the first step, and LÕK, the new generation paddle brand known for its bold style and full of attitude, have teamed up to launch “Game. Set. Match. “ This new campaign invites singles to step out of their comfort zone and explore new ways to connect, where movement, unfiltered laughter and authenticity are the true protagonists.

Starting May 31, Bumble and LÕK will organize paddle events in Madrid, Seville and Barcelona, where participants will be able to share a court - and connection - in a fun and relaxed environment. These events seek to break away from the rigidity of traditional dates and offer a space where paddle becomes the perfect excuse to break the ice, move, laugh and -who knows- give rise to something more genuine.

This initiative responds to a change in the preferences of the new generations when it comes to dating. According to a study conducted by Ipsos for Bumble* , the majority (56%) of young people believe that sharing a fun activity helps reduce the pressure of a first date. In this sense, paddle tennis is consolidating itself as a new language of socialization. In fact, almost half of the Z generation (41%) point it out as one of the best sports to meet new people. At Bumble, paddle tennis is one of the most popular sporting interests among both men and women.

Through these events, Bumble and LÕK transform the court into a meeting point where the goal is not to impress, but to enjoy being yourself. In addition, the majority (53%) of young people say that this type of activity facilitates conversation and helps to avoid awkward silences, proving that movement and play are great allies to break the ice in a natural way.

This initiative is part of Bumble's broader mission to foster healthy, authentic relationships, where people feel free to be themselves. Following the success of Bumble's Running Clubs - created to generate connection through movement - this new partnership with LÕK reinforces Bumble's commitment to building a world where all relationships are healthy and equitable.

Upcoming meetings “Game. Set. Match.”

The tour will stop in three key cities throughout the season. It will begin on May 31 May in Madrid at Ciudad de la Raqueta; will continue on June 20 in Seville at Iconico; and will conclude on July 4 in Barcelona at NickPadel. At each event, singles will have the opportunity to enjoy a different, authentic and fun experience, using sports as a catalyst for a real connection.
